Of tears and roses

I'm a year older and a grandpa lesser . 2011 has been an interesting one . I have gained so little yet so much . When life gives you something good , say thank you . When life gives you something bad , say thank you and move on .

So its officially done with . High school is a history . Now I feel like being a 16 year old again , no , 13 year old actually . Anyway , now that a phase is over , the next phase awaits . As I wake up today morning , I have my whole life to live . I count my blessings , love everyone around me and smile to the journey that awaits me .

In the mean time

The week has been a rather challenging one . I'm 'driving' my instructor crazy , I have absolutely fell in love with my Tumblr page and the best thing of all : Tun Dr Mahathir's memoirs is finally released !

In the mean time , I've been enjoying the Brontë sisters' literature and to be frank , got quite emotional as the story goes . Jane Eyre reflects women's power to change their lives in the 19th century world .

On screen , I was feeling quite bored as the TV has been my companion for the past 2 months , till , a movie called 'Into The Storm' livens my spirit . The movie moves around the late Sir Winston Churchill , the Prime Minister of England during the 1940s and his fight in the World War II . I was captivated when he said "Singapore will never be penetrated ( by the Japanese that time) , It's an island of fortress" . History proved otherwise . Anyways , his determination was inspiring . He may not won the election after the war , but he certainly won the war when he simply did not give up on England and her people...
